Whole family totally new to kickboxing... so organised a family trial session with Jason Stone... a really great experience - Jason made the session really fun. We were nervous, but the gym was spotless, very covid-safe and Jason gave us a great introduction to kickboxing. Thanks Jason

If looking for MMA and Martial arts this place seems to be the best BUT I was looking for self-defence as at 56 not as confident as I was in younger days. The self defence on offer and advertised seemingly for just agile and flexible people throwing and pulling people to the ground which for me and my partner simply impossible at our age. Very nice people there and the staff wonderful but as for a self-defence classes for everyone this is not good. However I would like my niece to attend the kids class as looked fun.

I've trained at more than a dozen martial arts gyms over the last 20 years, and Genesis is by far the best (and I've been here for 7 years now). The facilities are perfect. Matted floors, state of the art equipment and even a new coffee shop coming! The instructors are all amazing - they'll push you to your own personal limits and all take pleasure in watching you grow and develop. And lastly the people are genuinely a good bunch of people to be around. No ego, nothing to prove and happy to push each other. Lots of people I know are scared to walk into a martial arts gym because they think it'll be like something out of the Karate Kid. I've never once seen real beef at a gym, or never felt like I couldn't tap, stop or ask to go lighter. If you are interested in martial arts, but scared to enter a gym - do it. It'll change your life. And if this is you, you couldn't start at a better place than Genesis. #mysecondhome

Great academy. All the instructors are top notch and they offer a wide range of classes for adults and kids. Really enjoy training BJJ there, Chris is a great coach and Paul the owner is incredibly passionate about running a proper martial arts club.

Been with Paul and Genesis for a long time,Great gym with experienced enthusiastic instructors. Just go you won't regret it !
