Had an amazing time on the Guided Quail hunt. Mike is a great guide and kept my partner and I laughing the whole time. Watching him work his dogs was impressive! And despite having an injured back, Mike was dead set on making sure we had a great hunt and he never slowed down. If I lived in the area I would definitely be there more often and I hope that I get to go back again either before the season ends or next year. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great time with a great group of guys!
I had the greatest time, hunting with my son and grandson. I’m family, but I know that Mike treats everyone like they’re friends or family. And, those hills will give you a real workout.The course is on some of the most beautiful land that one can imagine.Thomas Lane Estes 3, outshot Sr. &Jr., and I was proud for him. Big Red Oak Plantation is a large hunting preserve in Gay, Ga. They offer several memberships that can include fishing, sporting clays, trap shooting and day or overnight hunts for many game animals. This includes deer, Turkey, dove, quail, pheasant and more. If you are a shooter or a hunter, you owe it to yourself to go down and check out Big Red Oak. Mike and Lisa (preserve managers) are pleasant and knowledgeable, and can guide you through your first hunt or your best hunt.
