Great hospital with excellent facilities. However it is easy to get lost around.

I had my baby here on 03/10/2020 and I could not pick any faults with the maternity unit here. I was worried about going in labour why coronavirus is still around but the midwives made me feel at ease and were brilliant. The midwives couldn't do enough for me and even my partner they couldn't have made him feel any more comfortable. Would recommend having a baby in this hospital and the staff on the maternity ward and the Labour ward are amazing

I am Aleksandra.K and last night on 29th at night time around 11-12pm I was taken to emergency to Queens Hospital,NE9 6SX. I am really dissatisfied and disappointed with rude staff I was taken to yellow zone emergency room where I sat for 7 hours at night begging to put me on a bed, I was crying from strong pain.I asked one of the nurses to put me on bed but she said I can’t, there was 3 empty beds in front of me. I will also attach picture where you can clearly see that. I started feeling even more weak and fainted on the chair. I asked nurse when is doctor coming to see me and again asked if they can lay me down before he/she comes. Debbie which was in charge for night shift ran to me,was so rude and said “I am the main one and responsible in here, and you not getting no bed”. she offered tea and food to everyone apart from me. I really felt hated in hospitals where emergency care should be provided. It’s unbelievable I am in tiers until now of the way I was treated at the end after 7 hours, no diagnosis was given and they referred me back to GP. I don’t want anyone else to be treated like I was. Extremely rude staff especially Debbie.
