Gateshead Glass Newcastle

Very poor service , do not return calls when they say they will & when chased they say they aren't bothered about your custom anyway !! It must be nice to be in the position where they can turn down work when they have kept you waiting for a month. We will not be back & I advise anyone else to do the same

I had a good experience ordering a large piece of toughtened glass, which was made precisely to drawing, when promised and for a reasonable price. I think Gateshead Glass is primarily aimed at commercial clients but as a retail customer my experience was just fine.

Called in to see if they could supply a small pane of patterned glass immediately; I was kindly looked after. They found a suitable piece, cut it to size and even added a spare piece in case of breakage or problems. A fair price too; I'll use these again.

For a company called Gateshead glass Newcastle they are remarkably poor at simply selling window glass. The salesman didn't seem to have much idea what the options for different types of glass are. They couldn't cut it at the time because their one employee who cuts glass is only there intermittently, and you're therefore likely to have to return to pick up the glass. Furthermore, they are very expensive, charging around 70 per square meter of 4 mm float glass cut to size. I suggest going elsewhere.
