Great club, guests always welcome. Laid back lounge, very comfortable and quiet. Really nice atmosphere with great views of the cricket group and lush scenery of the Fell. Genteel clientele far way from the madding crowd of the Fell or the toon. Ideal for a quiet drink where you can hear the crack and be heard. Highly recommended. Ps excellent facilities for parties and get togethers

Alway's nice welcome but this was a sad day cos it was an Aunties Funeral, just little tip, from bar into small room, there is a small step with no markings or yellow line luckily I had put my drink down (Coke when I tripped) same carpet, can't tell I was ok, but just incase someone else does it you might not have same outcome, I'm clumsy so laughed it off but have a look
