My wife and I love visiting gates. It has a fabulous restaurant l, great selection of food, as well as the garden centre itself. Great selection of plants to choose from. Well worth the 24 mile drive to it. Can’t wait for the restaurant to reopen.

Outstanding! I've been to many garden centres in the Leicestershire, but I've not encounter one that is this large and this well presented. All the staff are really friendly, even wearing masks you can see they're always smiling. The displays are captivating. You can tell someone has really thought about the layout of the whole place. There's a real attention to detail here that many places should aspire too. There's a wide variety of different plants, decorations, and so much more here. The cafe (we didn't get to the restaurant in time) was amazing. There are few places that make lattes that well! And the cakes were equally as yummy. Sorry that I only too pictures of the Christmas stuff, but really it's a good example of what the place will look like. The place was so large we weren't able to go to every section, we got there at 3pm and it closes at 4pm on Sunday. The cafe stays open till 4:30pm. Just go, it's great for anyone!

Good range of seeds seed potatoes and onion sets so I was able to get set up for a productive year on the allotment. Pretty much everything you need from a garden centre. Also a farm shop including butchers and deli. Restaurant closed due to Covid19 restrictions but take away coffees etc. Covid safety measures were good. Not the cheapest but huge range.

Certainly worth the drive! Amazing effort for the Christmas decorations. The farm shop is out of this world with amazing selection of meats, cakes and pastry’s. You’d be mad not to check this place out
