When we first viewed Gate Street Barn for a potential wedding venue, we were stunned with the beautiful barn and grounds so booked in our date. With November 2020 looming and all of the Covid-19 restrictions altering what our day would look like on what felt like a weekly basis, India and the team where there for any questions (and there were a lot!) and support. When we were forced to cancel the November date, we subsequently held our breaths for a new one in December. The day finally came around and we were faced with a stripped down day with 15 of our closest family. Well, what a fantastic day we had. India was on hand for all the help we needed on the morning and ensuring the day went smoothly. I almost forgot we only had 15 guests and they were wearing masks for the ceremony, it was the most amazing, intimate day and we are so happy we went ahead rather than waiting for the bigger day. The venue was still amazing with our large banquet table that filled the barn where we ate and played games into the evening. Thank you for such a memorable day!

Such a fun place for a wedding! A great fun and relaxed vibe surrounded by nature. I got to photograph an awesome wedding at Gate Street Barn this summer and it was one of the best celebrations I've ever seen! The staff were super helpful and friendly too
The place of dreams!! It’s not just about the stunning barn, the gardens, the lovely drive up to the venue. It is the people behind Gate Street that make you want to get married here! They have literally thought of everything. Anything you think you’re stuck on, just call the team and between, Jane, Lisa, India and Kate they will find a solution for you. I was calling up on a regular basis and it felt like I was talking to friends, they were just wonderful and most of all- on the morning of our wedding. They made sure I knew where they were and left me to calmly get on with what I needed to do. They put me at ease and it was because of India that my nerves disappeared as I was about to walk out. It’s not just me, every single one of my guests adored the venue and many have said they would love to get married here too. I love seeing all the different things brides and grooms do to make this venue their own. I cannot recommend it’s highly enough! We are already planning renewing our vows here :-)

Beautiful barn and set of related buildings, slickly managed and the catering was excellent. Considering the wedding was in the depths of winter, it was warm, cozy and due to some well positioned bridging marquees it felt like a single large venue.
