Our beautiful retro VW girls have benefited from a superb restoration and modern fit which ensures reliability, safety, and ease of use. They are all right-hand drive and vintage. They are fully equipped with everything you need for a camping roadtrip from table and chairs, to that all important corkscrew. All you need to bring is a towel, bedding and some clothes. All our campers include full UK insurance for one named driver, breakdown cover, a first aid kit, smoke alarms, gas safety certificate, and more.

Had an absolutely lovely time driving Poppy around Snowdonia and Anglesey. Poppy was spotless when we took it over from Jon & Liz, it has all the amenities you can possibly need for a comfortable camping experience. It was so handy we could just pop into Poppy and have a quick lunch in there whilst putting our feet up parked at a beautiful natural spot. It did take me a little while to get used to driving Poppy around (I normally drive an automatic car in London), although once I've got the hang of the gear box and the wheel without power steering, I really enjoyed the unique driving experience. It was such a cool and novel experience driving such a vintage car around and thanks to Jon & Liz, who have kept the car in such superb conditions. Poppy is so beautiful and turned many heads whenever we went. Everyone loved her! I'd love to come back next year and try out Jon & Liz's other vw classic campers!!

We hired a VW camper (Nell) for 8 days and had a great time. It was very well kitted out and comfortable for two people. We cooked most of our meals on the gas stove and found it all very easy. The engine was pretty old fashioned, but worked well all the way. Much warmer and more comfortable than camping!

We recently rented Bessie for a week at the beginning of October and we couldn't be happier with our decision to hire from Snowdonia Classic Campers. It was so much fun and such an adventure to explore North Wales in a vehicle with such character!! Liz and Jon were so helpful from the moment we booked, keeping us updated though the uncertain times this year and answering any queries before and during the trip quickly, not hesitating to pass on lots of useful info about the areas and where to stay. Bessie was spotless and really comfy to stay in - everything we could have thought of was provided, the interior was as beautiful as the exterior and so thoughtfully arranged. We were a bit nervous beforehand about driving an older/larger vehicle than we are used to but Jon explained everything so well, putting us at ease and making us feel really comfortable driving off on our holiday. We cant recommend these guys highly enough and can't wait to hire from them again!! Thank you!

Had a fantastic holiday using snowdonia campers. We booked prior covid-19 but had to cancel, liz and John were extremely good in offering a new date for our holiday. The communication was great through the build up to our holiday. The van was as advistise and my 4 year old son loved it, especially the roof bed. I would book again.

Had a brilliant time trundling through the mountains of Snowdonia and then up to Anglesey. Everything we needed to keep us going was in the Lola camper van, from heating, warm bedding, cooker and fridge, to all the cutlery and crockery we could want – and the roof gave us lots of space to cook and move around. A great time.
