Great food for a decent price. It's a mile long, 800 foot ascent hike from the base but worth every step! A good pit stop for those attempting the summit or returning. Not open on Tuesdays.

One of my favorite places on earth; the hour long hike to get up there is worth it and the sauerkraut tastes like my grandma used to make. You won’t regret the view and a beer to take it in with. Can’t wait to go back.
I arrived at the hütte after a Kramerspitz round trip and just wanted a beer. All tables were taken but I thought I might buy one and drink it in the meadow right next to the tables. I went to the bar to get one but I was told that I will not be served unless I am sitting at a table. Was this really too much to ask for?
Nice location with an wonderful view. Easy to reach
The view as breathtaking and I enjoy being up there. The workers are however quite rude and unfriendly, as if you are inconveniencing them for ordering food or trying to see who your waiter is. If not for the view I would not go back.
