Location is everything here. It location on the western side of the pedestrian area gives it an excellent position for outdoor seating. The menu is sparse, but they have the items that tourists will enjoy. They also have an extensive wine list. English listings are in the back section. My food was cooked well and was tasty. Beers on tap are Hofbräuhaus brand with prices ranging from 3,50 to 4,90. Bottle beer is a larger section. Service is slow, but that's the European way. Give yourself time (good advise for any German restaurant). My waiter spoke very little English, but we were able to get the orders completed using my sparse German and his sparse English. The views and central location are what make this an excellent option. Overall, an average restaurant with a great location

Really nice atmosphere and accommodating wait staff had the best steak- I could cut it with a butter knife. Excellent Creme Brulee- Excited to go back and try more!
