Alan is a great optition Gives good advice and no pressure to buy new glasses. I've been wearing.ring glasses for over 40 years and he is by far the best optition I have used. Highly recommended

I rarely get my eyes tested even though I'm practically blind, finally went in this place on my way to the supermarket and couldnt be more pleased. I suffer with bad mental health and actually left this place cheery the receptionist as soon as I just opened the door and put my head in was warm & welcoming and got me a more or less immediate appointment she was lovely & chatty , the optician was great, very thorough and clearly knew what he was doing & then past me to the sale specs assistant who was lovely, I'm currently on sick leave from work so kind of just blurted out I was skint and what were the NHS choices, to which at my amazement were the ones that first caught my attention & I liked!! Usually any previous optitions have the most horrible range for NHS glasses and try to charge loads more for nice shapes or bright colours which I could easily get at a poundshop. Garlands range was lovely and the sales assistant & receptionist were both so helpful & honest over which pair. I picked a pink pair first & another pair the assistant reccomended as being quite a good shape for most faces and whilst I was gutted the pink pair didn't suit me he was spot on about the pair he recommended and we went for others same shape. I tried on about 8pairs they was so helpful over each & I now cant wait to recieve my bright blue ones. I love local village shops like this that have a great vibe adding to the local community, especially in trying times for a lot of people. Thankyou
