I’ve been having fun helping with the garden for about a year now. Today I’m helping wrap presents to give away to an elementary school. The Vineyard is a very generous and giving community. You will always feel welcome and no judgement here.

I was in need of assistance and felt I should be close to my higher power a few weeks back. I was extremely depressed and feeling hopeless. I knew I would not be able to speak of my situation without losing it completely. But what better place to relinquish your struggles then the Vineyard Church, right? As I was waiting in line for my food box I spoke to no one. I was cold, lonely, hungry, and tired. I resolved to keep my pain between myself and God and hoped I could get through the individual prayer part without becoming a spectacle. As luck would have it, time restraints prevented this from happening. I was able to relax, take in the love, patience, understanding, and a feeling of serenity the Vineyard Church has always given me whenever I visit there. As I was leaving I noticed that I felt calmer and at peace with my situation. Noting had changed, I still had the same problems, but I didn't feel as heavyweight down. Breathing was easier and more importantly my ability to start to problem solve returned to me. Conclusion, the closer I am to my maker allows me to count my blessings, gives me harmony and balance. Thank you, Vineyard, just for being there.
