Interesting place to visit, unfortunately cannot enter due to covid so didn't get the entire experience. Nice place to walk around for a bit and parking was ample. It could have used more signage to explain some of the other buildings and areas that are situated on the property to better understand what you're looking at. Good way to kill sixty minutes.

Love the experience of seeing history. Very heartfelt and heartbreaking in the same sense. Took plenty of pictures. Will visit again.

The Plantation House is well preserved having been rescued from decay in 1925 by a private group which purchased the house and lands. The property was then donated to the state and is incorporated into a State Park. The rangers are very knowledgeable and friendly.

This tour was very interesting, I was fascinated going back in time. The house is well constructed and it has a very rich history. As you can see by all the pictures there is much to learn from the tour!
