Lovely food and shop. Sharing platter was a great way to sample the delights of the smoke house, there was a special of half a lobster in garlic butter and chips with salad we very much enjoyed our lunch. The smoked venison was really nice and pleased to be able to buy some in the shop. There are a few tables outside and sitting out in the sun was a nice touch. Tables inside also. Staff were friendly and plenty of Covid precautions being taken.

Great food. We were so lucky to get a table. If possible do book ahead and you won't be disappointed. We tried best Whitebait I've ever tasted and a smoked fish filo parcel. All superb. It'll make you want to go next door to the shop where you can take some of their wonderful smoked food home with you. We bought smoked brie, some creamy salmon and trout pate and smoked trout slices. All to die for. Don't go past without stopping, there's plenty of free parking and it's only yards off the A75.
Probably the best smoked salmon I’ve ever eaten. Absolutely wonderful!
