Had a really good rump steak served with fries, tomato and green beans. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare, seasoned well and the garlic butter on the side was the perfect sauce. I added scallops to make it a surf and turf and they were superb.

Loved the place. Surprisingly good grill and food and wine selection was also at a high level. Definitely a must if you are coming to Tobermory. Staff was also nice and friendly and place had a nice casual vibe.
The place for steak! We had 10 ounce rib eye and 20 ounce t-bone - best in memory. Appetizer tomato crostini delicious. Good wine selection, reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Comfortable seating. Busy after 7:0p PM reservations recommended. Sticky toffee pudding close tie for 2nd out of seven Scottish restaurants surveyed.
True to the local recommendation it has more interesting meat dishes in the menu than seafood. I still ordered the mussels in white wine and they were fresh and juicy. The filet, with the description of “fat and bone free” is tender and tasty, certainly the star of the meal. Saturday dinner will certainly needs booking a few days ahead, as I have found when calling on late Saturday afternoon.
Party of six, we all left happy! Lovely little restaurant with nice friendly staff. The scallops to start were amazingly good! Mains did not disappoint either.
