The place was clean and conveniently located in the centre of the fort. The rooms are air conditioned which is great, considering the humidity outside. I am thankful I was upgraded to a double room. There was a small lapse where my room did not have towels. Do remember to bring shower gel and shampoo as only a bar of soap is provided. Otherwise, my stay was enjoyable.
Got angry when I asked where to go for a drink stating their religion. Did not want my family to play the piano. Get angry if you come in after 10.30. Only good thing is price.
Very nice place in the center of the fort. Very charming and friendly people there! if you just wanna hang around in the evening don't miss the roof top with it's hammocks.

We stayed at "Muhsin Villa" for 3 nights and it was a fine experience.The staff was very hospitable and assisted during our stay catering to all our requests. I enjoyed their breakfast very much, which even included hoppers, my personal favorite sri lankan dish. It was also delicious and plentiful. Overall i had great stay and I recommend this place to anyone looking for a b&b in Galle, for a reasonable price
Excellent location and the warmest hosts one could ever meet. I was here when the Colombo terrorist attack happened, and a country-wide curfew was implemented. The host family was extremely helpful and still managed to get me a driver since I had to catch a plane. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and tranquil at night. I strongly recommend this place as I myself will most certainly visit again. Muhsin Villa is one of those wonderful places that make Sri Lanka beautiful.
