Great pub located a few minutes from Hamilton Square station and Woodside Ferry. Good place to watch sport. Has a large selection of real ales and does food which I didn't try as I had already ate. Would definitely return. If you are visiting Liverpool and you want photos of the waterfront take the underground Birkenhead or get the ferry then walk to this pub grab a real ale check out all the military paraphernalia then nip outside to do the selfie. Then go back in for another ale or three.
Great British pub has lots of authentic British items for display and even Sinatra LPs! Food is fantastic especially the pizzas
Top staff in a well kept boozer. Best place to go for a proper pint in Birkenhead. Enjoy!
