We ordered here for years but the quality and service has greatly declined. We ordered 5 dishes and the worst of them that came was the fish. It was hard, crunchy and rubberized meaning that it was clearly an old order that was never picked up that was “refried” and resold. When consulting the restaurant over the phone, the owner slammed the phone down on us albeit we remained civil throughout the conversation. I would not eat here again and I caution others of you who do not want the same unpleasant experience. They are taking advantage of their customers and do not care about quality or service. Two thumbs down

Excellent choice for Thai food in the west village. Super friendly service and the food comes out fast and hot. Real Thai spice option for the spicier clientele! This is cash only, but at these modest prices upon won’t mind. They seem to do a lot of take out orders, but always attentive.

I’ve been ordering from here regularly after discovering on Seamless. Admittedly am a creature of habit and always order the drunken noodles but they’re so good! Highly recommend. The food is also always still very hot when it gets to me.

Staff is very rude. I asked to be seated at a different table in an empty area and the hostess asked the other person in my party if we were going to be ordering five entrees. One can only expected to be greeted with hospitality by seating staff. We addressed our interactions with management and he seemed inexperienced and responded with an excuse the hostess was new. I explained to him that basic professionalism and common courtesy isn’t something that can be excused by simply saying that the hostess is new. It’s obvious we are dealing with unprecedented times and people are trying to maximize they’re space for profit. However it’s important to maintain the excellence in customer service while doing so. We left, found somewhere called Thai 55. It’s walking distance from Galanga and the staff is amazing. We have no intention on returning to this restaurant.

Galanga is a Thai spot very close to all the bars right off of West 4th street. They are very friendly and quick to take in-person orders, and super quick with fulfilling orders as well. If you're looking for some drinks to enjoy your Summer stroll in NYC, they are indeed serving beer and cocktails to-go. Was super awesome to be able to grab a beer and walk around the city!
