I don’t often do 5 stars but I believe this restaurant deserves all five. Right down from the welcome, the ambiance, the attentive service, through to the menu and the food, it’s all of such a high standard. And we found the prices more than reasonable. We see a pride in the dishes they serve and a hospitality that made our evening very special.

Three of us had an excellent dinner at the Gables last week after a long absence. We had lamb cutlets, baked skate wing and crab, all beautifully cooked and presented. Service was perfect as always. They are continuing eat out to help out through to November for mid week so got 30 off. Sincerely hope this first class restaurant makes it through these tough times.

The place is smart and classy with nice music in the background. Service was excellent, the waiter was very attentive and we were well looked after. The food was delicious, simple, but great taste. Strongly recommended.
