Shunai Music reviewed Restaurant Papaya
I really enjoy the food at Papaya. First of all the location of the restaurant is ideally calm. And the terrasse is facing a small and quiet parking lot. The terrasse is totally covered and you have a feeling of being outside without having to cope with the harsh sun or... The sudden rain.
The meals now are delicious, from the starters to the deserts it a pleasure to savor each meal.
They have Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine. And their menus at lunch time are at 13.50e which is very affordable.
I just regret that the service was not quick enough as I was having lunch in between work shifts and we also had for some reason quite an amount of flies at our table that bothered us as well, maybe due to the season.
I do recommend trying out this restaurant.

Jamin Glenn reviewed French Cooking School
I am an amateur culinary enthusiast and finally decided to take a more formal culinary course to hone my skills. I also wanted to get some advice from a real chef, so this was my first foray into the world of culinary institutions and I wasn't really sure what to expect. I couldn't be more pleased with my decision with Poul's French Dining School in Brittany. First off, Poul is an extremely good chef, amazing teacher and is filled with a wealth of knowledge of all things food and the restaurant business in general. Second, Poul and Niall are the most generous hosts and genuine people I have ever met. Conversation was never dull and my drink was never dry. Lastly, I would be hard pressed to find a more gorgeous home and kitchen. It has all the feel and authenticity you would expect from a 15th century home in the Bretagne countryside, yet with all the amenities of the 21st century. Whether you are a novice or experienced chef you will learn something here and have an amazing experience in the process, I can guarantee it. I'll certainly be coming back for more. Highly recommend A
Imogen McGuigan reviewed Black Bear Burger Restaurant Shoreditch
Can. Not. Speak highly enough about Black Bear burger. My partner and I first discovered them a couple of years ago on a date night at box park. We'd had a couple of beers and fancied a burger that tasted half as good as the aroma coming from black bear smelled. We met Stew and Katie who were so lovely and spent a good 10 minutes having a natter while we did a couple of ski shots... may have been Canadian club with maple syrup? Absolutely delicious. Well, we thought it might have been the booze that made it so so tasty but how wrong we were.. we've Been back 4 or 5 times and been served by other staff members and every time we've enjoyed that same consistent burger, as high quality as the last. We always mix it up a bit, a brisket burger or the beef shim nuggets (to die for) but you cannot beat the classic so when lockdown came around and we had to take our date night's at home, I was delighted to see BBB were offering DIY kits and they didn't disappoint. I can guarantee you will not find a better burger in London. Bleecker is a close second but why settle for second? Love love loved it, see you next time when we hope to visit the Brixton restaurant x
