Juraj Simic reviewed Séoul
Mediocre at best. Kimchi pancake tasted of everything but not kimchi and no dipping sauce with it, spicy bbq squid was ok but a tiny portion, Bulgogi was not bad; not great either though and the Bibimbap was small, the bowl was lukewarm and the ingredients didn't taste the freshest.
First time I left a Korean restaurant and was still unsatisfied. At 80 for two starters, two mains and a soju and one beer it is way overpriced for what it is. Not recommended for anyone who expects a good Korean meal
Fabrizio reviewed KATANA Sushi
We were looking for a Sushi place that would not be the super upscale but not a fast food either. Katana Sushi proved to be he perfect place!
The decoration is sober, tasteful and warm. The touch of the Japanese culture is given by a few typical paintings and an extremely relaxing Japanese music that creates a really cozy atmosphere. The only hiccup in this aspect was the excessive light coming from the stylish wooden lamps (hence only the ****).
The food: we tried the Crab/avocado, spicy tuna, salmon/avocado. It was delicious and the food was served extremely quickly (still freshly made).
The selection of beers is small (2) but Asahi is of course present!
We will be back.
Kritt Normsaskul reviewed Black Bear Burger Restaurant Shoreditch
Black Burger makes one of the best, if not, the best burger in London.
It's meaty, it's juicy, cooked exactly how I like it and loaded with bacon, American cheese, sweet onion jam and more, all sandwiched between two pillowy soft brioche seeded buns. I know my description doesn't make it sound any different from the other burgers in London, but you must try it to know it. I don't know the secret as to how they do it so unbelievably well! You can even go big and get a double patty.
It's not a restaurant, more like a food stall that just happens to be housed within a shipping container. But that doesn't matter. Plonk yourself one of the long wooden communal benches in Boxpark Shoreditch and devour this incredible burger.
