CLS LSD reviewed Restaurant Le Karo
Decent food, adequately presented. We ordered beef and pork, and frites/steak for the kids.
Pork dish was probably slightly undercooked and I personally did not appreciate the 'porky odour'.
The overall experience and service was great - restaurant has an elegant feel, modern deco and a measured ambience, not overly boisterous, but not quiet either. Unexpectedly pleasant find.
Luciano Messenio reviewed KAZUMI
Fusion Japanese and French restaurant that will not disappoint you at all. Menu is chosen by the chef that will cook in front of you all the fantastic meals explaining the flavours, the ingredients and driving you through is culture. Fixed price menu (45), suggested a bottle of good French wine, you don't have to think about what to order, the chef will do everything for you. I would really recommend this place and will definitely come back here when visiting Angers again.
S Vaquant reviewed LA BOUCHERIE
Kritt Normsaskul reviewed Black Bear Burger Restaurant Shoreditch
Black Burger makes one of the best, if not, the best burger in London.
It's meaty, it's juicy, cooked exactly how I like it and loaded with bacon, American cheese, sweet onion jam and more, all sandwiched between two pillowy soft brioche seeded buns. I know my description doesn't make it sound any different from the other burgers in London, but you must try it to know it. I don't know the secret as to how they do it so unbelievably well! You can even go big and get a double patty.
It's not a restaurant, more like a food stall that just happens to be housed within a shipping container. But that doesn't matter. Plonk yourself one of the long wooden communal benches in Boxpark Shoreditch and devour this incredible burger.
