It's one of the few restaurants which are also open during the off-season. We didn't have a reservation but we were still able to get a seat very fast. And the service was fast. The food is of good quality and super delicious. We were sitting outside on the balcony and i would also recommend to sit rather outside than inside because inside it's pretty packed and i think it's not as pretty and a bit loud. The grilled squid was very tasty. The food is nicely served and i think price value is very good. All deserts cost 3 euro. The puddings are not really my thing. I wouldn't have the pudding here again.

Lapas had the most incredible sauce ever! Very tasty, and the cozido was pretty good too. We got two (for two people) for four and couldn’t finish, but very traditional. Worth the visit! And great wine selection too

We booked this place a couple of days in advance as advised by the locals. The food was marvelous and we even took some back home. The price was just unbelievable! We were hoping to leave with the wallet empty and we left with plenty of change instead. We ordered appetizers, the popular vulcanic dish and dessert. Everything was just perfect.

Very good stew cooked in the furnase, large choice of wine, for 12.30 and 7pm. 24 for 2 persons, huge quantity and very good quality. Nice service Go before around the lake for the nice walk and 30min before eating see where they cook.

Stew, chicken, pork steak with egg, chicken nuggets, or BBQ calamari. Food is amazing. Not to be confused with the snack bar called Tony. This restaurant has two floors, and at first it was full on top so we went to the main floor. Well worth the stop.

We had a fantastic experience having dinner at Tony’s. We ordered the Furnas stew plus a couple of other dishes and some wine from Pico. First of all the stew is very reasonably priced for how much meat you get. In particular the chicken and pork was so tender, it was delicious. Our server was also extremely friendly and chatted with us at length about Azorean wine and also let us sample local wine. We had a fantastic experience and wouldn’t hesitate to return!

An enjoyable restaurant with very good food. You do need a reservation if you're looking to try the typical \Cozido\ dish as it takes 7 hours to cook underground.
