Brilliant carp and catfish fishery. I have fished this 4 times now along with my wife. All staff are polite, helpful and really nice people. Venue is exceptionally smart and tidy and importantly you are among decent respectable fisherman. The carp are a good size and all that I have seen is quality fish. Toilets are good and clean too. The food from Helly Cafe is cracking with deliveries to our swim. Highly recommended in every way. Well done Furnace people.

Most amazing fishery with polite knowledgeable staff who take you and your equipment to your peg. Fantastic food delivered to your peg from the onsite cafe. 24hr security so you know your equipment and yourselves are safe Beautiful Catfish and Carp which I have been lucky enough to catch and witnessed over 80lb Cats been pulled from the lake. They have rules for a reason they care for their fish and security and welfare of other anglers. Read the rules and enjoy the experience

Well just finishing a 72 hour session on specimen lake and what can I say other than it was excellent . A very well kept fishery with owners that actually care about the fish stock . Delivered to and from our swims by quad bike with hot food bought up at no extra cost. All staff members we found to be extremely polite and couldn't do enough for you . We will definitely be back . Yes there are rules that you have to abide by and you will be checked but at the end of the day they would not have a top notch fishery like this without them . Great staff , great lakes , great swims , great food and fish in pristine condition .
Been to Furnace Lakes multiple times. Lovely country side and lakes. Staff all very friendly and good banter! Food at the café excellent for hungry customers. Recently whilst at Furnace Lakes, I overheard the staff \turning away\ some very unpleasant/undesirable foul language yobs. Good job! I understand their policy is to refuse entry to the unwanted. Who spoil the tranquility of the entire site. Will be returning soon.
