Ok so let's talk waffles.... cane back into town for work. Ate dinner early and just wanted something sweet for dessert. Came across this place. So I decided to get a banana bread waffle... yes banana bread waffle! Throw in some blueberries granola and some PB.... add a scoop of coffee ice cream and the magic begins! PB & Blueberries is one of my favorite combos and is very unknown to people, so here I am spreading the word about it! Come here, so many choices, sweet and savory, breakfast and dinner.... 2 thumbs up!!
Called ahead to ask if there was a wait and whoever answered the phone didn’t say hello or announce the restaurant name. I thought I called the wrong number, but it was the one listed here. They were totally rude and I thought I was being punked. They said there was no wait. I arrived 20 minutes later to them telling me there was a 20 minute wait. Okay, cool, no biggie. I waited patiently with a group of 4. Meanwhile, they sat 2 tables ahead of us who arrived after us, offered them menus and the option to order ahead, which no one offered to us. Upon seating, we ordered online (COVID) 98 worth of food, and half of it was forgotten. I walked back up to the counter with my receipt and was ignored for another 7 minutes and when I did receive help, the woman was rude. Finally received all of our food only to find a hair deep fried in the chicken tenders. I didn’t even want to bother waiting another 7 minutes waiting to be acknowledged at the counter. I am a waitress. I know what it is like to be busy and make mistakes, but all of the orders are done online, no one is serving tables, and it isn’t even busy in here. Definitely need major work in the customer service department. I used to love this place!!!
So sad to be leaving this review, we were so excited to eat here. But our experience was less than sub-par. We walked in high hopes cute decor friendly staff. We sit and place our order, 1/2 of the order came out in less than 15 minutes. The other half had been sitting on the counter for awhile as it was soggy once we received it. That not being the worst part, we ordered the banana Nutella waffle. The bananas on the waffle were turning black/you could tell they were days if not at least a week old. We also received bacon that was so over done it was crumbling as I picked it up off the plate. And the hash browns were burnt as well. Can’t say I will return.
Loved the decor. We ate inside and I think our food had been sitting because it took a while and then came out cold. Despite that I really enjoyed the menu and food. The Brie waffle was very different in a great way. The potato waffle was delicious.
