Myself and two friends were extremely ill after drinking Poncha here. We didn't drink too much but we all felt like we'd been either drugged or poisoned. Be very very careful!
Great spot filled with locals. Beer is quite cheap. NOT a tourist trap, which is rare in the old town area.
Best poncha in town! Tipical bar with local drinks and crazy football fans. Great food snacks on good prices. Authentic atmosphere and friendly staff. Must order poncha tradicional and taste the very special Madeira liquor! You will find this bar walking in the old town of Funchal on the famous Rua do Santa Maria street.
