Great views, very friendly host, great prices, excellent puncha, tasty food, friendly locals. My favourite bar in Funchal, and well worth the 10 minute walk from the Monte garden, if you are in the vicinity.

Superb view! Great host. - we walked here in few minutes, coming from the cathedral.
Very kind shop owner gave us directions. Had wonderful drinks, great view.
A small, quiet bar with indoor and outdoor seating. Simple food. Cheaper than the other bars at Monte, and with good views.

Ein Geheimtipp. Der Wirt super freundlich und sprachlich zuvorkommend. Der Kaffee und Poncha ein geschmacks Kracher. Typisch und urig. Aussicht nicht zu toppen beim Snack. Es ist einen Abstecher wert, wenn man da oben in Funchal ist.
Que as aparências iludem, já o diz o ditado e, neste caso, não poderia ser mais certeiro. Apesar do aspecto algo descuidado, a comida é muito boa, saborosa, bem servida, e a um óptimo preço, menos de 10 uma refeição completa. Para além disso, as vistas são muito boas e o dono muito simpático e prestável. Recomendo!
Der Ausblick ist wunderschön, gute und billiger Essen und total nette und freundliche Gastgeber (,Paulo). Kleine und simple, aber gemütlich und fein. Danke Paulo!
