Delicious! Great service and they give you all little complimentary treats like champagne to start, lemon sorbet before the main meals and Madeira wine with desert at no charge. Some days have live music too. No complaints here!

Although we have known about Goya for the last 10 summers, we never visited it until this year. What a terrific place. Our party of 4 had the Concept Menu (41 pp) which was beyond fabulous and great value for money. Not only was the food top end, but the wine (all included) never stopped flowing. In addition, a lady violinist provided the guests with a great musical accompanyment which befitted such a high end place. Easily the best meal I've had in Madeira and we will definitely be back in Goya in 2020.

Nice service, pretty presentation and decent food. We received a glass of sparkling wine when we were seated and we ordered the duck risotto and pork belly dish. I would recommend sitting inside if you don't want to be disturbed by the sound of the traffic.

My wife and I visited Goya for their New Year gala banquet. It was absolutely superb - excellent food, friendly and attentive waiting staff and the wine just flowed. We chose this place for New Year after eating here over a year ago. We wanted somewhere that would feel special, it did not disappoint. At the end of the evening, included in the cost, we were driven to the Nini Design Centre to view the fireworks, one of the very best locations in town and with inclusive drinks. All in all a very special evening - thank you Joana and Rui.

Excellent restaurant, perfect interior with classic music. Tables designed in a very chic way. Service is excellent!! 5* they offer you free champagne once you sit down. The menu is very good, portions are big and every dish is specially decorated with incredible ingredients. I loved foa gra. Fish is fresh not frozen like other places. They bring lots of things on the house that feels amazing. If you book online you get discounts. Must check out the sexy bathroom. Really enjoyed this place.
