Cafe and pastry, great taste and value. This is a very popular cafe and pastry shop. they have other branches in Funchal as well. It can get crowded and you have to wait sometimes but the service is friendly and quick. one of the better cafes in town. also nice to just buy bread and pastry to take home.

Discovered this as it was close to my hotel 2 years ago and specifically came back to it during this vacation. Fantastic cake and pastries. Do try the cappuccino - not sure what you will get as it seems to vary with whoever makes it but it has always been delicious. One advice on ordering: go inside and immediately pull a number, it’s always busy and bakery and cafe are served in the same que.
