Good 45 minute (promo) tour of how they make Madeira wine. Knowledgeable guide. Take pics of large casks. Taste at the end. 10% discount offered at the end of the tour. Others on the tour seemed to enjoy it a lot, but then again I'm not much of a drinker.

Very nice wine company museum. The guide did knew the company and the history of Madeira Wine. The place itself is beautiful. The price is medium but there's several options and a wine taste in the end.
Great place to buy some wines and bring them from trip.
Kind of a must see attraction in Madeira. The place has a lot of history and the guides are good. A couple of samples of wine at the end makes this a good price for an hour snd a half. You need to book onto a timed tour for the language you want.
Mandatory place to visit. Got to know a lot about wine in general and naturally about madeira wine. We got to see the storage place of the wines, which are attics and not cellars, and naturally at the end you do some wine tasting and may buy some bottles at a discount price. The basic tour costs 6.5 which is less than just the tasting at the bar (if you are thinking about doing it separately). If you want to buy a bottle, you may taste it. If you like and buy the bottle, then it is for free.
A great place to find out more about the Uniqe product of the island of Madeira - Madeira wine. You can taste, shop and browse around the winery. A must if you are staying near Funchal.
Spirit of history. Education. Good work.
Very informative visit. The guide was excellent, we learned lots about the making and history of Madeira wine.
