Friendly fast food cabin on the main Estrada. Does great fresh snacks and beers at an absolute bargain price. 3 beers and a sandwich for 6 ! Unbelievable. Friendly staff who will serve you with any special requests. Not a lot of seats so grab one quickly. Had our lunch there nearly every day during our weeks stay.

The rest at casinha do lido was the most delicious streetfood we had during our vacation in Madeira. The Meatburger was stunning with a nice garlic kick. Just awesome food.

Called in last week asked the man did he speak English he said no i speak Portuguese you want some thing learn my language so the menu is in English so I pointed to the menu egg and bacon on Bolo de caco it came we had it we tried to pay but he ignored us and just made phone calls and sent messages on his phone . Then he said do you want to pay I thought that's strange he said he speaks no English he said that's 30 euro I said what the price is 19.50 euro so not only was he ignorant but tried to rip us off . From that day me and the wife have had a bad stomach that afternoon if I could have been sick I would have been thankful . Never in my 5 trips to Madeira have I found anyone so ignorant and abusive.
