3 stars as in "it's ok". Small room with a little kitchen inside and a bathroom attached. The pictures shown here on Google do not necessarily reflect the reality. Quite clean generally speaking, except the cutlery. Corona protocol intact. ;-) it's a little run down and things tend not to work or break down (see pictures). If you don't mind then .... Reception is unattended. Unfortunately our room was directed to the street which is a bit annoying in the mornings because of traffic and the motorcycle workshop in front of the house. It is loud! So, if you like the sound of roaring motorcycle or rush hour traffic you will love it here. It's located quite nice though, 10-15 min walk to old town. Some restaurants are close by. We had a hard time with mosquitos in the apartment (beginning September) best bring some bug spray. If this was useful for you please give a thumbs up.

Absolutely perfect accommodation, very clean and well equipped with large comfortable bed, stylish decor and lovely outdoor area to sit. Plus a very tasty and fresh breakfast! Great location to city centre and airport bus stop. The hotel was also really helpful when I had a problem with my booking.

The studio was spacious and newly refurbished. The bathroom was perfectly clean, very comfortable with a walk-in shower, good water pressure and amazing decor details. The kitchen is really cool, with a vintage look but with very modern appliances. The induction stove works very well, the fridge has a good storage and the kitchen extractor is a piece of style for itself. A well self-catered studio in the middle of Funchal, for sure. In mood to go out, restaurants in the surroundings are good value for money and La Vie shopping center is a few meters away. The supermarket is there. The atmosphere of São Paulo is warm and familiar. The garden and the rooftop lounge are really relaxing although a 20 meters walk is necessary to go from one to the other. Glad that the entrance code is the same between buildings. Breakfast is a must-have. The bread is fantastic, there are a lot of choices. The yogurt is so tasty and the madeiran jams and honey are a great suprise. The service is on daily basis by default but it is possible to schedule the housekeeper visits, which we did, so we wouldn't be interrupted while on videoconference, something possible due to Wi-Fi's quality. The best I got so far overseas. I can only recommend this place. The stay went beyond my expectations and the staff attention towards my son melt my heart.
If you're looking for great location and usefull amenities this is the place to stay. Clean, close to everything (shopping mall 2min walking distance), very nice staff. Highly recommend.

I'm very pleased to stay here. The manager and cleaning ladies are sweet and helpfull. The room I'm staying in has two beds put together, bath/shower, toilet, tv and a small kitchen with a refrigerator (with a small ice box) and two hotplates. It's within walking distance from the town center (about 10 minutes walk) so everything is very close.
Excelente place, quite, clean and Luísa Mendonça is very helpfull and kind. This apartaments are located in the center of Funchal which is good, because me and my family could go by foot\u200d️ to the Lavradores market, shoping etc. We enjoy ️stay here.
