I came to this church over a five year period when the blessed but late John Carr was alive , and David Carr was pastor between the late eighties and the early nineties , we would travel up from Zion Christian centre Stanley Wakefield with our then beloved late pastor Trevor Dixon , for the conventions which were held every year at that time , I have done memories of those amazing convention meetings which were some of my good memories as a young Christian ,those meetings were awesome and the lord did some amazing things at that time in many of our lives and especially mine , we witnessed amazing healings and phenomenal movings of the spirit of our god, which were indeed blessed times for many ,and with god's spirit even moving into Dundee central one year in the most fitting and beautifull way , as I witnessed myself , there were many international speakers from many places worldwide ,and the atmosphere was always god filled , those days were a blessed time for me and for many and those moments and memories cherished , it has been a long time and much has passed by since that time ,people come and some gone , but one thing I do believe is that pastor David Carr ,John and brother , left a wonderful legacy that has carried this great church forwards into the 21st century, and hopefully all the freinds we knew have gone on to faithfully to serve the lord faithfully , my thanks to all those beautifull sisters and brothers ,of Dundee full gospel church , with love ,Steven Isherwood . ,, [email protected].
