Hidden Treasure. Went here yesterday and was very pleased. I had to wait 10 mins but the lady explained that she always cooks the food fresh and she doesn't like to put it in the top heater part as it can spoil the batter. I really noticed the difference . The food was definitely top notch. Hadn't been to a chippy for a while but this place is fantastic. Well worthb10 mins wait. Cooked perfect and no bones in the fish at all. Car park across the road is handy as there is always parking available. Decent prices also. Well worth a visit for top quality food. Best chippy in this area by far. Lovely chips too. Staff cheery and friendly. They slso noticed that it was my 1st time going there so they must pay attention to their customers not just another face.

Sorry, meant to add this last week, bit slow! Beautiful fish supper. 2 bits of fish and plenty chips. Def didn't need the single pie i ordered as well, but ate it out of respect as well, lovely. Also, the young delivery driver was a really friendly guy, chirpy and easy to get along with. If this is the quality of the staff at Fry D'S, then this is the best chip shop I have ordered from in years.

Without doubt, the worst chips that i have ever had, no Covid precautions in place either and the staff did not look well presented ( to put it politely) i would urge the fryer to consider using drywite in her potato prep and/or not have the chips sitting in the chip box for so long, no point in cooking to order with chips that bad.
