Sign on the door states no entry unless wearing a mask, however, they point blank refuse to take contactless payment, or any card payment for that matter. Half the staff were not wearing masks and nobody is washing or disinfecting their hands in between handling cash, serving customers and handling food. (Also, I was never asked if I wanted salt and vinegar.)

Really lovely chip shop. I've been going here for my chips for years. Even now, when I live at the other side of town, I still, would rather drive the distance to go here instead of somewhere closer to home.
Fish was excellent. Same could not be said of the chips though.
For me the best chips ever, large portions which means a large portion has plenty for two people.
Nice chips all freshly cooked. Well enforced covid rules, no mask No fish & chips simple really.
