French's Fish Shop Ltd

We travelled to the area for a seaside walk (within government guidelines). After 10k steps we decided to get fish and chips by the sea but were not expecting much as there are so many good fish and chip shops where we live. Oh my goodness this place is good. The haddock was cooked to perfection and was about as fresh as you could ever get. The batter was so crisp and tasty and the chips were awesome. If we lived in North Norfolk we would be here every Friday without fail. Thank you French's!

Great service during the second lockdown - we visited and paid \click and collect\ for our haddock, chips and mushy peas. Kerry was very helpful and the food was great and we are regular customers here. Fantastic service and Wells is such a great place to visit, no matter what time of year.

BEST FISH AND CHIPS in Norfolk. If you're ever near Well's next the sea would definitely recommend a visit. Fantastic fish and chip takeaway and restaurant.

Had fish & chips and peas there twice, my wife is a Coeliac (gluten free) and they made a fish with tempura batter for her which was great i had Haddock, chips & peas. The fish was lovely white flakes (Fresh) the batter was crisp and not soaked in Fat, which was fantastic, the chips were nice too and the peas were tasty and nice (mushy) thoroughly enjoyed them. The waiting time was about 3 minutes with the queue on the days we went . happy days, freindly staff. topped off a lovely day.

It's the best battered fish I've ever eaten. Chips are good but not perfect. Curry sauce is absolutely fantastic. Decent price and served quickly, would highly recommend.
