Delicious flammkuchen. Great burger. Service was fast and friendly. Burger has a slight curry taste which was unexpected but not bad. Great fries and large portions.

Pleasant place outside of the hustle and bustle of Freiburg - busy and good ambiance on a Thursday evening! The good points can be easily given: the salad was fresh and the dressing zingy; the dessert (chocolate cake) was impressively presented and well worth the 6 euros: the range of beers from the tap is good (although there is only a 30 cent difference between 0.3 and 0.4, which is beyond me!). In terms of staff, the waiters were attentive and efficient. All in all, four stars. However, I was left quite disappointed with the steak. I asked for it medium and it came medium-rare with parts rare if not more. At 24 euros, I was hoping for something better. The thickness of the steak should be addressed, or they should cook it in a sous vide beforehand. So two stars for the steak.
Good food, friendly staff. Gigantic portions (one could also say German portions). Healthy options are available as well as nice local wines. Delicious desserts!
That Cordon Bleu, earned all five stars. ...the 'beilagen salat' was surprisingly good too. Wish they took reservations for the evening hours, but worth the wait.
