The atmosphere and service are great, however the food not so much. We ordered the large Mezza plate and it was alright. It consisted of three balls of Falafel ( Which were too compressed and dense, the spices were too bitter it was rather hard to bite into them and swallow unless dipped into a sauce to lighten them up a little), three fingers of grape vine leaves stuffed with lemon scented rice which I am 99% sure were from a can, a proper brand perhaps. A small square "Kebba" piece which was nice, except it wasn't enough for even one person. And I need to remark that they are better off clarifying that it is Tajin Kebba and not Kebba, that is the same ingredients of Kebba are used but instead of making them into balls they were flattened into a baking dish and cooked in the oven, much healthier method of cooking. Also Tabbouleh, it was nice and everything but it was sweet! Normally Tabbouleh isn't more tart because of the lemon juice and never sweet.. I wasn't happy with that. Also some Baba Ghanouj, which is roasted eggplant dip and Tehenia which is chickpeas dip, those were nice. Last but not least in the middle of the plate there were two deep dishes, like a small shot glass (meant for serving dips) were a sesame seed based dip and a light yogurt and mint dip. I also had the ginger lemonade which had too much ginger. It left a burning feel after every sip. In general it's a nice place for people who don't have much experience with Lebanese food, which is the theme in this cafe, but I would like to give it another go and try the wraps. :)
Very good middle eastern coffee and food.
