Amazing been a few times now and can not fault it in any way I would highly recommend Frederick's to every one can't wait to go back and it's not just the food that's amazing from when you walk through the door you are met by staff with a smile and politeness very friendly and helpful. The whole experience is fab from state to finish thank you guys so much

So covid is playing havoc with eating out at mo but Frederick's have it nailed. Plenty of space and funky traffic light system for the toilets. Food was OK, we had 2 x Persian lamb which was very tasty, very well cooked and a really good portion size. Kids chicken strips were nice too. Salmon was well salmon nothing to write home about. All in all not bad but a little on the expensive side for what we had tbh.
I went on a Monday evening so the restaurant was pretty quiet. This was my second visit and unfortunately this time I wasn't as impressed. Sharing platter starter was superb - really good! But our main dishes weren't exceptional. My son ordered a fillet steak, rare, but was disappointed with it when it arrived and only ate half of his meal. I would return but not for a while. Certainly worth a visit though if you're in Cockermouth.
