Have used this chip shop for the last 6 months. It's one of the best I have tried in the county. Huge portions, piping hot. The chips are delicious. The fish quality is exceptional It's that good about to go and order some food from there now. Thanks for your amazing food and customer service Ross Webster

Popped in tonight. Ordered 2 large fish, chips and mushy peas. I cannot recommend this chippy enough. The batter was crispy and the fish was the best we've had in years. Mushy peas we're amazing. We will be back.

Came for the first time last night not long before closing, a few people outside waiting. Daughter went to order, sadly while everyone was waiting patiently for their food to be cooked in person took it upon themselves to start shouting at the staff about the wait. My daughter said the staff handled to woman in a calm and professional manner (personally if it was me I’d have given her the choice of her money back or undercooked food and a risk of food poisoning). Quite frankly if your going to order half an hour before closing then you can expect a wait and there’s absolutely no need to shout at the people cooking the food you can’t be bothered to cook yourself (exactly the reason we went, because we couldn’t be bothered to cook ourselves). Our order was cooked fresh, not too long to wait considering it was cooked to order and was absolutely beautiful (the dog appreciated the extra sausage and chips ) We will be back next time we can’t be bothered to cook and please take as long as you need to cook our food as it’s worth the wait xx

Had an amazing fish and chips with the wife, chips where well cooked and crispy on the outside. Fish was succulent and piping hot! Well worth the money. Staff polite, happy, all in all I would give it 6 stars if possible, thank you

Fish and chips are always so nice from here. Peas and curry spot on. Fish is so fresh and chips are so tasty plus they always have batter bits!! Never go anywhere else for a chippy tea!
