This place will always be one of my primary homes. I was brought up in this congregation being taught to respect that which is around me, to be kind and courteous as well as inquisitive, to look within myself for what I believe and to take my values out into the world for positive change. What we have in common is not one creed or dogma; we believe a great deal of different things within the congregation, from atheism and agnosticism to monotheism to polytheism and belong. Some believe in the power of God or love, in the power of energy or magic, or in the simple power of a caring community, some good coffee and some laughter shared between friends & acquaintances. What unites us is our simple desire to be united: to be in community together, sharing discussions on our beliefs or the world or whatever sportsball game just happened or is soon to happen, and to work toward a better, more compassionate, more conscientious world. This is a liberal congregation which welcomes all who come through its doors, so long as they are with us on the long path toward an open mind, a true awareness of the world and the desire to form a loving and supporting community for all who seek it. Imperfect but worthwhile and ever growing together. Always searching out new eyes to help us see our own reflections and make sure we strive not only for our best selves, but for the best community we can be: one which truly cares. Come on in! All welcome: all sexes, races & ethnicities, genders & expressions, orientations, ages, ability, income/class and beliefs. We would love to see you!

This has been my spiritual home for over twenty years. FUSF is made up mostly of families with children, but there are plenty of adults who are young and and old. The religious education program is liberal, as is the church itself, as you might expect from a Unitarian church. Education for adults is also excellent, plus a good way to get to know other people in the congregation. If you are liberal in your beliefs, and don't mind sharing worship with people from varied religious backgrounds (including purely secular ones), come visit on a Sunday at 10 a.m., especially during the main church year of September to May.

I challenge you to find a more vibrant, intelligent, talented, fun and socially involved UU community. A great place for families, young couples, senior citizens, singles,LGBTQ. Beautiful building, gaze at the woods through the window wall while contemplating inspiring sermons.

If you are looking for a new spiritual home, and you are liberal in your religious beliefs, you should come in any Sunday morning and check it out.
