Brilliant, except they keep turning the lights on and off to sing happy birthday. Making it hard to see the food. Kept picking the wrong stuff up. And at 1 point nearly had my eye out. Why not sing it once and be done with it. Great over wise. Not shore who served us. NO PEPPERCORN SAUCE! !!!!,... had a burger tonight. Take a look at this. But when I went to pay the bill, they didn't charge for it. So it was all good in the end. And it was quite nice with a bit of ketchup on it. And it is 1 of my best places for a bit of grub. So nice 1 f & b's see you soon.

Visited earlier today for lunch, both food & service was exceptional. Was explained the COVID guidelines by Owain who was really friendly and showed us to our table. Felt really safe in the restaurant, all staff wearing masks (even those in the kitchen) and brilliant social distancing measures in place. Food came quickly and was super tasty, would definitely recommend! Staff couldn't do enough for us, checking back on starters/mains and offering refills. Outstanding service all in all, can't say a bad word about the Merthyr store, always a pleasant experience every time we visit! Looking forward to going again soon, it makes our day!
Me and the wife went back to F&B's as this was the first place me and the wife went on a date. The food has always been amazing and the staff are always very helpful. The new system they have in place works so well and the booking and menu system are easy to use. Will definitely be back
Staff were very welcoming really comfortable surrounding and food was was superb kids big eat is an excellent idea massive portions defiantly be going again and would definitely recommend others
If you like Castles it's in a nice location not to far from some nice walks
