I wanted to leave my experience here because usually immigration offices are horrible everywhere, however, we had an quite good experience. Besides the long online queue to get an appointment (around 3 months), we went to the immigration office with all the papers and everything was done in 1:20h. Seems like there’s a new building or the previous setup moved to this new place so it can be quite a challenge to find the right place to wait. There was signs and all but we had a native accompanying us. The officer was friendly, English speaker, short talk about the weather, impressions of winter, etc, so far so good. There was a Photo-booth available if you forgot to take a picture...usually those machines accept only coins and you can also pay the office appointment with cash or card. Overall good experience.

We had a good experience. We turned up with an appointment and were called in almost without any wait. The lady was very friendly and helpful. If you are nice to them and have your documents in order, they will also be nice to you.

I am really not at all happy with the Ausländerbehörde Services in Frankfurt. Waiting long times for appoitment, no email replies on time. I am on fiktionsvisa since one year (temporary visa). My job search visa was made very late although I had already finished my studies long time before. You have to literally wait for 3 to 4 months for an appointment. I had this kind of experience never ever in Germany. Was devastated to have this kind of experience in Germany. Well, maybe big cities work in this way but this is not normal (talking according my previous experiences).

This place is a proof that Germany has no democracy, human rights and constitution for all. AfD must be proud of this place! I have had terrible experience with different employees of Frankfurt immigration authority since my arrival to Germany in 2015 as a highly skilled professional, paying huge taxes over the past 5 years. Initially, I thought it was bad luck, but visit after visit, different employees have treated me and my family in a humiliating, denigrating and disrespectful manner. If German bureaucrats can treat humans in such way in 21st century, thanks God I’m not in 1930s Germany! Thank God there are plenty of other countries where I can work in order not to finance salaries of such disgusting bureaucrats!

If you have an appointment, then everything is going to be fine. The thing is that this issue of having long queues or having delays in the email reply is there for many years now. Such an issue would have been accepted if it's only for a limited period, but that can't be an issue (too much workload) for years. This is an honest feedback from someone who wants to see Germany better and there is always a room for improvement. I wish you all the best.
