When our little daughter was born, my husband and I knew that we wanted to capture those precious early moments of her life – they are already flying by far too quickly! Having seen Fran’s lifestyle photos on Instagram, we were really excited by her style of photography, and felt the ‘lifestyle’ shoot and its more relaxed nature would work really well for us. We felt the memories elicited by this style of photography over the more traditional posed style would be more meaningful and emotional to us looking back in the future, transporting us back to all of those little details, moments that are so fleeting really, as she grows up. The session itself was really relaxed and being in our own home was perfect for us as a camera-shy couple! Fran put us at our ease immediately, and this really shows I the final images. Having the shoot in our own home also meant that we could not only capture the memories of daughter and her features, but our own home too. We worked hard on making the nursery look as lovely as possible, and it is fantastic hat we will have a record of our first house and how this looked to reflect back on in years to come too. Something we hadn’t considered before talking to Fran was the video aspect of the shoot. We weren’t sure about how well this would add to the excellent photos we were expecting and were hardly aware of her actually filming during the shoot. We were amazed to receive a 3-minute video, capturing moments we had no idea were being filmed! The video is probably the most precious thing we took away from the shoot as we will be able to look back on these natural moments which we never would have been able to do if we’d gone down the more traditional route. We’re so enamoured with Fran’s work that we’re already planning on having her back when our daughter is toddling to capture this life phase. Thank you so much Fran.

Fran is brilliant at portrait shots, but lacks confidence in organising wedding guests and didn't communicate this difficulity with us on the day, which resulted in our requested selection of photographs, unsatisfactory. Overall I am happy with the finalized product I received from Fran. I was disappointed with the lack of picture options we had.
When we booked Fran for our second son’s newborn shoot, we wanted something different. Something natural and something more laid back. The studio session for our first born was wonderful. But, this time we wanted some stripped back photos that showed what our life was like with 2 children, whilst still having the baby as the star of the show. The result is to be treasured forever. Not only does Fran make you feel at ease, but the photos are not posed and she captures that snapshot in time beautifully. The photos we have are fantastic but what I love the most is that I also have a snapshot of the baby’s nursery and details of our house to look back on which we didn’t have with the studio shoot. We chose to have an album of all the pictures, it tells the story of our new addition perfectly
Frances is the most amazing photographer we have ever had the pleasure to meet. We wanted photographs taken of our first grand child and we couldn't be happier that we were reccomended to Frances. She has so much knowledge of working and handling new born baby's we immediately trusted her and the end results just blew us away......100% recommended
