Award winning restaurant, and for good reason! The food and service from here is absolutely exceptional. I’ve never had a bad meal or experience dining here! I usually have the pork dish and their way of cooking the pork is so melt-in-the-mouth it’s unreal! I highly recommend it! The skewers are also extremely delicious too! They have three different areas to dine/relax in, the restaurant being for sit down, more private meals, bar front, which is a little more casual and relaxed, for light bites and a few drinks, and their newer outside seating area where a picnic style table has a parasol and is lovely on a sunny day, but still comfortable to eat out.

We had a delicious early evening meal at Foxton's. Although we had booked for 8pm, we were running early and they were happy to accommodate us at 6:15 pm. The welcome was warm and the menu had a good choice for all courses. We started off with cocktails, a shared starter and fish & chips for one of us, Buttermilk Chicken with added jalapeño (our request) for the other. Clean plates all round. If you are visiting Berwick-upon-Tweed, try Foxtons for at least one meal!
A wonderfully run restaurant. Friendly staff, good menu, nice ambience. We had the Chicken Supreme and the Haggis Burger. Great quality food. Nice house wine. Great desserts too! I'd go back and recommend :)

This place is okay. My review is based on the Lindisfarne burger with added sweet potato fries and garlic bread. The burger patty itself was quite good. Maybe a bit dry and it did fall apart a bit, but good in terms of taste. The chutney was very sweet and maybe needed more of the cheese to balance it out. The cheese could have been cut thinner and spread out to cover the whole burger too which I think would have really helped it. The fries that came with the burger were decent but not amazing. The sweet potato fries were a bit lacklustre but I can never work out why I'm not keen on them when that's the case (sorry, I know that's not helpful). The garlic bread was excellent! Imagine the burger but using a bigger version of that garlic bread for the bun. That would be sooo delicious. Possibly too crazy and not fitting with the rest of the menu... But one can dream.
