Always good what ever the weather. Lovely place for a walk with friends, family or on your jack Jones. Great place to walk to and get a drink.
Love this place, very nice place for a quite walk,it is very popular so we all can't be wrong. My only issue is at the top lock there isn't a nice cafe that you can sit and watch 5he boats go by,there is a place to get a cuppa but its not the best. There's a beautiful restaurant and the bottom lock which is lovely. A great trip out for a quite Sunday stroll
Good service and social distancing.. Nice food.. Worth a visit. If wanting to eat inside Book to avoid disappointment.
One of our favourite places, picturesque, peaceful, and usually able to buy soft / hot drinks and snack food and sandwiches even during lockdown (though no boats moving except for essential maintenance - water / pump out etc). Has interesting flight of locks and storage pools, so a boat can go from the top to the bottom without wasting more than one lock-full of water.
