I come here annually for an event and am never let down by this pub. It’s spacious, with a games area including a pool table and a darts board. Food and drink is reasonably priced, and the bar staff are very friendly and accommodating. Stays open til around 1am on Fridays and Saturdays if it’s busy enough.
Lovely meal, friendly staff. Definitely going back after lockdown no2.

Ok for a pint, not the cheapest in the area and shame a bit more isn't done to spruce up the garden at the back. That said, food has always been good and a friendly smile awaits. You'd think the place would be rammed with the catchment area it has - maybe it's the price of a pint that puts people off, I don't know, but drop in and see what you think.
