Super friendly staff and totally willing to help. Huge vegetarian selection (which is really rare for pubs), and the food is lush! Such a cozy atmosphere, I 100% recommend

Love this place, love the atmosphere and friendly staff, good beer and good food from Bozza and the Sunday carvery. Wish Covid would get lost so it can open up properly.
Great place. But its closed ar the moment
This is a tiny pub witb lots of atmosphere but little space. We arrived into a very cheerful get together for church members having lunch. Fortunately for us they quickly moved into the dining room and it sounded like they had a lovely time dining. We took seats in the bar with another . couple who were trailed for 1hr and 30 minutes in their car and compared our 2hr lost time due to rediculously poor road closing. We laughed and they enjoyed their really good looking sandwiches. The staff were lovely and we had drinks before returning to Ripon and starting off again to Newby Hall. It was closed!!! So for the Fox and Hounds a very big thank you and for the road works, well I am lost for words but if we get stuck on the road again we all said we would stop there again. They were nice people.
