When this Germ warfare Virus that the Chinese have infected us with has been contained. There are two important businesses within our village that we will still need and expect to still be operating. The Swan with Matt's lovely food and choice of Real ales. And the Fox n' Goose with 'their Chefs expertise, well kept Adnam's ales and comprehensive Wine list. Many people are struggling financially. Many are not. Where possible, let's do our best for both establishments. Whatever they can provide ( remember, they are also struggling. Wages, overheads etc). Whether it be having to eat al fresco in our overcoat, or take aways, let's support them. We wouldn't want to lose them ! It's up to us to keep them going through this period. It'll not last forever !

Quick and pleasant service. Food was prepared and presented well, and tasted great.
Lovely atmosphere and service unfortunately the food didn't reach the same standards. My starter of smoked chicken terrine tasted as if it had sat in the fridge for a few days and the leaves used to garnish it were wilted. My partners main vegetarian meal was made up of soft textures. It would have been improved with something that was crisp. Our desserts where tasty and the coffee was suitably strong . The petit fours were lush . The bill was also very reasonable.
Superb meal. As a vegetarian it was great the all the courses were equally superb - so often the main course is unimaginative and lazy Not here! The chef really know how to combine his flavours. Will come again and reccomend
Gorgeous pub set in stunning village location. The lamb I had for the main just melted in your mouth. All the food was completely faultless, yes a little more pricey but if you prefer the finer things, this is the place for you!
