Seriously, this place is great. Such nice people, from the manager to the bartender. Moreover, simple food such as whitebait and fried chicken was done perfectly - no grease, well presented, and you it tasted like good restaurant standard for pub prices. I wasn't expecting much but I'll be back - even though I live in London.
Fantastic pub with a great landlord and brilliant staff. The food is always on point and very delicious in fact the gourmet burger is one of if not the tastiest burgers I’ve ever eaten. Sanitiser stations dotted around the whole of the pub along with posters asking for your details for track and trace purposes. A wide selection of drinks available as well as ice creams for the kids and Gin sorbets for the adults on these lovely hot days. As well as lots of space inside and out they also offer a table ordering service which is fab. All in all this Pub has a great atmosphere and is Pet friendly to boot and how many other pubs boast a retro space invaders machine that is amazing fun. I will definitely be visiting this pub again and advising others to do so too.
Used to love this place as really high standards but serving me a mouldy tomato on my plate and thinking you can just knock a glass of wine off the bill to make it all alright? I won't be returning
